The designers of 21 countries from Central Eastern Europe (Albania, Austria, Belarus, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovak Republic, Slovenia and Ukraine) are called to apply and submit a project for a GLASS JEWEL.
Enrollment
to the contest is free of charge and the announcement is available on the
website www.triestecontemporanea.it
The
best projects will be awarded a first and a CEI prize (both of 3000 EURO) and
the youngest designer will win the BEBA prize (1000 EURO). See in the contest’s
regulations the list of the other prizes and the planned workshop in Venice. All
the selected projects will be realized in Murano and will be exhibited in Venice
and Trieste.
The
contest is coproduced by the Trieste Contemporanea Committee and the Glass
School Abate Zanetti of Murano under the patronage of CEI (Central European
Initiative).
