Senior Recruiter
The European Investment Bank (EIB ) has recently established a new operational strategy. Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of the Staffing vision, strategies,
plans, initiatives, policies, schemes and tools; in order to provide
for an adequate and timely resourcing of the Bank's staffing needs
- Raise the awareness of the EIB as an employer of choice
through recruitment events, meetings and partnerships, focusing on
specific target segments of potential candidates and aiming to increase
diversity and equal opportunities.
- Ensure the execution of the entire recruitment cyclem in
close cooperation with internal clients and Business Partners,
including: assessment of needs; employment market intelligence;
proactive planning and organisation of recruitment events and
campaigns; preparation of job ads; assessment, shortlisting and
interview of candidates; establishment and negotiation of entry
salaries; formulation of recruitment proposals to senior management.
- Provide expert advice on recruitment matters to HR
management, client directorates and prospect staff with a customer
service approach, proposing solutions for unusual or complex problems
- Actively participate in relevant projects, initiatives, IT
developments in this domain, taking part in tenders, selection panels,
working groups or task forces as required
- Steer and monitor the activities of external agencies, service suppliers and consultants
- Manage the provision of services to internal clients ,
monitoring regularly plans, performance indicators and service level
agreements
- Provide guidance to more junior staff and/or administrative assistants in the execution of staffing processes
- Keep up to date on best practice and latest developments in recruitment and employment markets in private and public sector
Qualifications:
- University degree in a relevant subject (i.e. HR, business administration, organisation, law, economics, engineering, etc)
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience,
including 5 years of recruitment experience, ideally gained in an
international environment.
- Good knowledge of the best practice in proactive talent identification and attraction, assessment and selection techniques, with an understanding of other HR domains, and of the relevant European employment markets and channels
- Understanding of the Bank's mission, strategy and activities
- Computer literacy. Knowledge of PeopleSoft and Business Objects reporting would be an advantage
- Fluency in English or French and a solid understanding of the
other language. Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage
