HR Vetting Advisor/Specialist

Do you enjoy a challenge? Are you good at analyzing information in order to make an informed recommendation? Are you good at stakeholder management?

We're looking for someone like that who can:
• Ensure vetting checks are completed in a timely manner
• Prepare case escalations relating to vetting findings and make recommendations based on past precedent
• Work with Line Managers and HR partners (including HR Advisors, Recruiters, Employee Relations) and other stakeholders such as Legal and Compliance to review any vetting findings
• Support the re-vetting of employees in risk functions or senior management positions
• Respond to queries from Vetting Vendors, Line Managers, Employees, Compliance, HR partners including the Global Staff Vetting Team and other stakeholders
• Track candidate data in our HR systems and provide status updates on vetting checks as required
• Code, check and process Vetting Vendor invoices
• Produce and analyse vetting metrics as required
• Collaborate with other vetting team members to establish and maintain a positive work environment and to seek opportunities for process improvement / operational efficiencies

Your team

As a member of the Regional Vetting Team you will be part of our HR Operations team in Krakow Green Office. We are part of HR Service Delivery and your role is to support the vetting of employees across UK and EMEA locations. This includes the background checks on new hires as well as current employees and escalations in relation to External Staff.

Your experience and skills

You have:
• Bachelor degree
• Experience of employment vetting
• Experience of working in a shared services environment or within financial services
• Knowledge of UK/European employment legislation as it relates to operational activities
• Good written and oral communication skills 
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving skills and able to think logically
• A risk management mindset


You are:
• Good at dealing with stakeholders, including senior managers, as well as with external vendors
• Client focused
• Fluent in English
• Able to work under pressure
• Highly organized and detail-orientated with strong time-management skills
• Able to challenge / influence / facilitate and guide
• Able to present information in a succinct and informative manner to support decision-making
