What will I be doing?

You will work across local, regional and global teams. We are trusted advisors right across the business and you’ll be in the thick of influencing strategy and investment decisions from day one. You will be making decisions that directly determine the future of our brands, the way we work with our customers and how we run our supply chain. Our people have the opportunity to make a big impact every day on a local level, across Europe and the globe.

What do we look for?

It might come as a surprise, but we don’t have a specific discipline requirement, so you don’t have to have a background in finance or economics. We’re looking for strong analytical skills, ambition, a talent for influencing people and a real desire to understand how a business operates and succeeds. Enthusiasm and commitment go a long way. We’re looking for our future Financial Management leaders and the limitless opportunities at Unilever creates fully engaging innovative entrepreneurship. You will also need to be flexible about where you are based during your time on the scheme as your rotations could be based at different business units across Europe.

What will the programme involve?

The programme will start on 1st September, 2015 and is designed to grow you into a manager within 3 years, through hands-on learning alongside world-class experts. You’ll develop your individual leadership skills by working on live projects which offer you all the experience you need to become ready for your first management role. Over three years, you’ll take on three stretching placements across our businesses, you may also have the opportunity to work internationally. You’ll gain experience both in financial and management accounting and you’ll be business facing, communicating with key contacts within the brand teams.
