Accountant / Senior Accountant with French

Responsibilities are dependent from the position:

General Ledger:

RTR Accountant is responsible for the organization and timely, accurate processing of accounting transactions and all related tasks to achieve the agreed business goals. They ensure the delivery of a high quality, customer-focused service to external clients. Implement changes to accounting techniques ensuring compatibility with procedures and controls using new accounting developments as input. They are focused on business controls and process improvements associated with their desk assignments or the overall team goals. They manage all RTR sub processes, with significant focus on IFRS and French GAAP reporting.

Accounts Payable  provides support the Manager with the global procure to pay process implementation work stream for country gap workshops using a standardised methodology;  work closely with country representatives and 3rd party service providers to document process gaps vs. global standard template and build a detailed action plan to close gaps ; coordinate with the SAP Invoice Management work stream Project Manager to create aligned project plans; maintain and update project plans for individual project country releases with the Process Implementation Manager; ongoing tracking of country project status;  escalate and resolve issues to keep project on agreed timelines; highlight issues and proposed solutions in regular project status meetings

OTC Accountant  is responsible for organizing, attending and leading workshops with the client in local country offices, performing process review and updating of the procedures in country level to include to local specifics into global standards process, perform knowledge transfer from Client to Company delivery team, identifying, report and resolve any issues encountered.

Requirements:

• At least  2 years of experience in GL,R2R, AP, P2P, AR, O2C, Tax
• University degree (preferable accountancy, economy or finance),
• Practical knowledge of Excel
• Very good knowledge of French
• Good knowledge of English  
• Knowledge of SAP or other integrated system will be an asset,
• Analytical mindset,
• Proactive with customer service orientation
