Risk Administration and Reporting Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Risk data extraction, manipulation, mapping and analysis

• Scheduled production of risk committee reports

• Operational risk event management, enrichment and reporting

• Administrative tasks around tracking and monitoring of various data submissions

• Chasing individuals on late submissions

• Template design, distribution and collation to facilitate collection of various data

• Managing relationships with onshore clients and colleagues

• Providing updates to the Team Leader with appropriate escalation where required

 

Requirements:

• Very good written and spoken English

• Very good knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word

• Very good knowledge of MS Access

• Good knowledge of VBA

• A desire to work in an operational risk role within financial services

• Good interpersonal skills, including oral/written communication & influencing skills

• An eye for detail, appreciating the importance of accurately representing data in reports

• An eagerness to gain a broad understanding about operational risk

 

Additional assets:

• Experience either in banking operations or operational risk

• Experience of using analytical reporting software packages like Cognos, Business Objects or Tableaux
