Internship in the Legal and Compliance Delivery

The role involves understanding and developing a working knowledge of the derivatives business and in the longer term potentially various industry standard master agreements, for a variety of counterparty types e.g. banks, corporate clients and funds.

We are looking for interns for 3 and 6 months with possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:

• Data capture and integrity/accuracy checks of data stored on the legal documentation data bases
• Occasional data analysis and report preparation for Legal Department Units
• Liaison with internal UBS areas (Legal, Collateral, Credit)
• Liaison involves use of English by phone, chat and email

Requirements:

• Last year student or graduate of Administration, Legal, Finance and Banking area
• Very good written and spoken English
• Strong interest in legal matters and financial markets traded products
• Experienced in MS Office applications
• Ability to deal with ad hoc queries in a professional and timely manner and escalate where appropriate, to ensure resolution
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight externally imposed deadlines
• Comfortable interacting with clients (internally and externally) to resolve process issues

Additional Assets:

• Good written and spoken German or French

• Experience in legal documentation drafting/analyzing
