Business Risk Specialist

As a Business Risk Specialist you will be a part of Centrally Aligned Risk Services Centralised Controls Office. Team provides a multitude of services to the Operational Risk Managers within the Bank, including: controls inventories completeness, risk compliance reporting, risk data gap identification, etc. You will be responsible for: • Supporting Operational Risk Managers from London and Zurich in operational risk management related activities• Mitigating the risk by performing various internal controls to ensure their resistance and sustainability• Identifying red flags and raising them to senior stakeholders
Your teamYour team is a part of a bigger organization providing Risk & Regulatory Shared Services across GCOO; this role will be focused on Group Operations and is based in Zabierzow/Krakow. Our objective is to support Group Operations, Group Technology and Group Finance in day to day operational risk management.
Your experience and skillsYou have:• University degree• At least 1 year of experience (preferably in Banking/Financial industry)• Very good communication and social skills (English level – C1)• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel• Ability to adapt to quickly changing controls design and to implement new initiatives and projects• Ability to build good relationships with stakeholdersYou are:• Self-reliant and self-confident to communicate with senior management• Team-orientated, while able to complete tasks independently• Able to prioritise your workAdditional assets: • Experience in Operational Risk Management
