Risk Control Ops Specialist

 We’re looking for someone like that to:– assist with operations of risk processes (including credit limits checking and setting, credit ratings and static data setting, limits amendment on electronic trading platforms, authority checking for Annual Reviews and Limit proposals)– playing a shift-lead role by distributing the team's workload – make sure policies and procedures are adhered to and requests are dealt with in a disciplined, timely and efficient manner– stay up on policies requirements – check that material issues are escalated to the relevant control functions and that reputation concerns are escalated to senior management
Your teamYou’ll be working in the Credit Risk Data Management team in Zabierzow Business Park. We are a team of 7 people who cooperate with each other closely. Our main tasks are related to maintenance of Credit Risk related data in various UBS systems. We provide support to Credit Risk Officers in UK/EMEA, US and APAC.
Your experience and skillsYou have:– a university degree in finance, economics, business administration or numerical discipline– experience in the financial services industry, preferably in risk management– strong analytical skills– good excel skills (VBA as an asset)   You are:– able to respond quickly to notifications from Risk Officers about counterparties in financial distress– a great communicator (and you know how to handle challenging situations)– team-orientated, while able to complete tasks independently– fluent in English
