The client is a leading ‘Big Four' audit firm in the world. For the office based in The Netherlands, we are currently recruiting young graduates who recently graduated in economics (specialization in finance and/or audit). Candidates will be working in their Financial Services business line to follow a traineeship. Customer focus will be on the investment management sector (including fund administrators, investment funds, custodians and brokers).
As a trainee, your primary work will consist of checking and compilation of financial statements. You will be also involved with special assignments. You will execute controls on investment. You make connections between the internal and external administration of the customer. You register your findings in a memorandum and ensure commitment of the checks in the electronic file. You examine the accounts for each item and ask the customer for needed information. You'll start directly with an intensive training programme in which you will actively gain subject-specific and personal skills. As a trainee you are assured of an intensive supervision.
Project is an initiative in which recently graduated or young candidates with a few years (0-3 years) work experience, with economic and managerial backgrounds from Central Europe are deployed for professional activities in Financial Institutions and Audit firms in Holland.

You will be employed by Financial
Company and work at our client's office in The Netherlands for a period
of 1 year. After 1 year you will get the opportunity to be employed
directly by our client. The work environment is international, informal
and benefits are excellent. Probably you will start at the head office
in Amsterdam. Expected start datum will be January 2011.
We are
looking for young, motivated, open-minded colleagues with a strong
financial background (graduated in Finance, Audit or Accounting), who
are willing to stay in The Netherlands for a minimum period of 1 year.
You must speak English fluently and you are good with numbers. A short
work experience in AUDIT is a plus.
