Senior Mechanical Engineer - static and rotating
Location: Norway
Main responsibilities:
- Work on projects worldwide from Oslo Office
- Provide advice on mechanical equipment and system design
- Prepare data sheets and specifications and review documentation
- Participate in development and exchange experience with the engineering team
- Do follow-up of production and test activities
- Take part in mechanical completion and final inspection and commissioning activities
- Start date: asap, duration: 6 months with possible extension
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- Proactive and solution-oriented
- Open and communicative
- Able to work both in team and independently
Additionally:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 10 years of similar work in engineering projects
- Thorough knowledge of applicable codes and standards (API, ASME, NORSOK, EN, etc.)
- Engineering experience in oil & gas processing
- Experience in fabrication methods and follow-up
- Adherence to HSE and quality standards
- Fluent English
- Excellent communication skills
