SW Testing Engineer - Switzerland
Currently we are recruiting a team of software testers who will join our international project based in Zurich, Switzerland and support our team of IT specialists who are developing and implementing software for our corporate client – a Swiss leading banking company. This project will start in January 2011, training on the SW testing methodology will be provided.
Job responsibilities:
- Preparation of manual or automated tests
- Execute manual tests cases/scenarios
- Execute automated test scripts using HP’s QTP or similar product
- Defect logging and tracking using an industry standard tool
- Perform preliminary defect analysis and assignment
- Work with stakeholders within business community and development teams in order to eliminate defects
Our requirements:
- English and German communication skills on an advanced level (every day use)
- IT background (especially SW testing) is strong advantage
- Domain knowledge of banking/financial industry is beneficial
- Analytical thinking
- Very good communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritize based on business criticality
- Eye for detail
