Role Summary/Purpose
Work location - Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Romania or
other country in Central & Eastern Europe.
Demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and
broad company objectives. Integrates and develops processes that meet business
needs across the organization. Involved in long-term planning. This role
contributes to the overall strategy and manages complex issues within
functional areas of expertise.
Essential Responsibilities
* Account leadership role responsible for
leading the Smart Grid strategy for a customer or group of customers in all
aspects of growth and profitability including growth playbook (2 to 5 year
strategic plan), integrated account planning, opportunity identification, and
value communication
* Responsible for
assigned orders/sales operating plan of all P&L teams across the entire
Smart Grid portfolio of products and solutions
* Responsible for
developing programs and strategy for the portfolio that will result in
achievement of growth targets/objectives over the Session 1 (S1) period
* Strong interface
with the marketing/commercialization organization to develop high value
solutions and create customer specific NPI (New Product Introduction) which
leverages the portfolio
* Conduit for
solutions, detailed understanding of customer's business model and how GE can
continue to deliver added value to the customer
* Build customer
relationships and communication at all levels
* Matrix with
existing functional and P&L teams to achieve growth objectives and resolve
customer issues
* Actively
participate in community events with the customer
* Successfully
interface with GE Corporate Government Relations and GE Energy Washington
Operations as required
Qualifications/Requirements
* Bachelor's
degree from an accredited university or college
* 10 years of
direct sales, account or team leadership experience
* Broad knowledge
of industry best practices in Smart Grid solutions
* Broad knowledge
of fundamental constructs in Smart Grid solutions
* Ability to
develop and maintain customer relationships at all levels, including the
CEO/CFO staff level
* Customer-centric
mindset, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business
solutions
Desired Characteristics
* Six Sigma Green
Belt certification is preferred
* Master's in
Business Administration is preferred
