Risk Control Operations Specialist

  If so, we are looking for someone like you to:• assist with the operation of risk processes • get involved in the processing of Credit Periodic Reviews• check and input Credit Limits, credit ratings and other static data setting • act as a shift-lead role by distributing the team's workload • ensure requests are dealt with in a disciplined, timely and efficient manner• stay up-to-date on policies requirements and ensure policies and procedures are adhered • check that material issues and concerns are escalated appropriately
Your teamYou’ll be working in the Credit Risk Data Management team in Zabierzow (Kraków Business Park). We are a team of 7 people who cooperate with each other closely and with our colleagues in Nashville, Tokyo and Zurich. Our main tasks are related to maintenance of Credit Risk related data in various UBS systems. We provide support to Credit Risk Officers in UK/EMEA, US and APAC.
Your experience and skillsYou have:• a university degree in finance, economics, business administration or numerical discipline• 2-3 years of experience in the financial services industry (risk management experience would be an asset) • strong analytical skills• good Excel skills (VBA as an asset but not essential)
You are:• able to respond quickly to notifications from Risk Officers about counterparties in financial distress• a great communicator (and you know how to handle challenging situations)• able to prioritise your work• team-orientated, while able to complete tasks independently• fluent in English
