One of our clients is an leading 'Big Four' Audit firm in The Netherlands. Customer focus will be on the investment management sector (including fund administrators, investment funds, custodians and brokers). Our client offers financial and non-financial audits for large and small clients including the investment management industry.

Traineeship in Audit (unique job opportunity)
Would you consider a job as a trainee in the Netherlands?

We are looking for young, motivated colleagues with strong Financial background (graduated in Finance or Accounting) who are willing tot stay in The Netherlands for a minimum period of 1 year. You must speak English fluently. You must be openminded, tolerant and interested in working with the international team in Holland. Short workexperience in AUDIT is a plus. You like audit and you are goed with numbers. The work environement is informal and benefits are excellent. Probably you will start at the head office in Amsterdam. Expected start datum will be in January 2011.

How does your work in AUDIT will look like?
As a trainee your primary work will consist of checking and compilation of financial statements and assist with special assignments. You are involved in the preparation, execution and completion of assignments. You will execute controls on investment. You make connections between the internal and external administration of the customer. You register your findings in a memorandum and ensure commitment of the checks in the electronic file. You examine the accounts for each item and to inquire about the customer and more. Furthermore, you’ll start directly with an intensive training programme in which you actively will gain subject-specific and personal skills. As a trainee you are assured of an intensive supervision.
