Assembly Manager

Opis stanowiska:
Place of work: Dublin, Ireland
Main responsibilities:
- manage and control all production assembly activities in window and door, curtain wall unitised assembly and roof lights departments,
- maintain and improve quality levels while promoting a quality- focused culture among the staff,
- ensure all relevant documentation is filled out as per company procedures,
- manage a team of supervisors/lead operators and general operatives to improve production efficiencies, quality and on time delivery through best
manufacturing practices
- work closely with all members of the production team to ensure production plan/targets are achieved on a continual base,
- drive a programme of continuous improvement for your departments with the help and assistance of members of the production team and other relevant departments,
- maintain and promote a good working relationship between staff,
- ensure all operatives adhere to company policies, procedures and work instructions.

Requirements:
- third level qualification in an engineering or manufacturing discipline combined with at least 3 years experience in a similar role,
- experience in manufacture/assembly/installation of curtain walling,
- knowledge of a wide range of fabrication equipment and their respective capabilities,
- excellent English language skills, both verbal and written,
- proficient in the use of MS Office,
- Auto CAD experience would be a distinct advantage,
- mechanically minded,
- excellent interpersonal skills,
- strong leadership qualities,
- able to take responsibility and work on own initiative,
- proven ability to train and develop a teamwork culture.
