Our client: Our client, one of the leading international construction groups, with worldwide diversified activities, offers a full range of services in engineering and construction projects. The firm`s evolution over a 50- year span is reflected in its continuing record of achievements performing major civil, industrial and electromechanical projects worldwide. On behalf of the client, we are looking for Senior Bridge Engineer to work in Abu Dhabi office of the company.

Project description: Sheikh Zayed Bridge for Abu Dhabi Island,

Construction of a 912m long bridge linking Abu Dhabi with the mainland with a central span of 234m. The main bridge is a hybrid structure consisting of central steel asymmetric arch ribs supporting pre- stressed concrete box girder decks. At the two main channel piers, the decks are supported by inclined pre- stressed concrete supports, rising vertically from the pier pile caps. The foundation comprises large diameter bored in situ piles.

The project also includes construction of 1.3 k.m of dual carriageway.

Wymagania

    -       University degree
    -       Work experience in the construction / erection of at least one cable stay or suspended bridge project.
    -       Total work experience of 10- 15 years.
    -       Fluent English
