Junior Liquidity Risk Analyst

 – learn about risk control and treasury risks– develop and become responsible for daily risk controls – run and maintain daily, weekly and monthly reports– review transactions, analyze risk exposures compared to expectations and limits– ensure that material issues are escalated to the relevant control functions– support senior Treasury Risk Officers on Liquidity & Funding topics (including presentation slide creation)– remain up-to-date on regulatory requirements and trends
Your teamYou will be working in the Treasury Risk Control team in Zabierzow (Krakow Business Park). Our role is to support the Treasury Risk Officers based in Zurich, London and NYC analyzing the overall liquidity position, preparing regular risk reports and participating in ad-hoc projects (focusing on different aspects of building solid risk control framework). You will interact and work in close collaboration on a daily basis, with departments and functions in other locations: Treasury Risk Control, Group Risk Control, Treasury, Finance functions and Trading Desks.
Your experience and skillsYou have:– a university degree in finance or a quantitative discipline– strong interest in understanding financial markets, Liquidity metrics (LCR, NSFR Basel III ratios… )– ideally some knowledge of risk management including risk metrics (e.g. VaR, Stress testing, modeling, sensitivity analysis) – qualifications such as CFA, PRM, FRM would be considered as a strong asset – strong analytical and communication skills– knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint– previous experience in working in challenging environments would be an asset
